FRANCARE Industries has created its subsidiary in the Angolan capital city, Luanda, to develop local major industrial projects in Angola; this subsidiary enables operators based in Angola to benefit from services of an Angolan company which complies with international standards.
Our project mainly consists in the supply of equipments & services for the maintenance, repair & and operation for onshore & offshore petroleum industry.
One of our clients, SONANGOL – Sociedade Nacional de Combustiveis de Angola, E.P., is the sate-owned oil company responsible for the management of oil & natural gas exploration on the subsoil and continental shelf of Angola.
SONANGOL is responsible for the exploration, production, manufacturing, transportation and marketing of hydrocarbons in Angola.
- Servicing of equipment supplied by us exclusively (including installation, start-up & training):
Our main concern is to guarantee after-sales service & commissioning of the supplied equipments; this is essential so as to ensure the owner on its performance and quality.
Consequently, we have assisted our customer in the installation, start-up and training of the supplied equipments.
- Supply of marine mooring & lifting equipments for barges in Block 3:
SONANGOL has barges offshore Block 03 to pump and store oil before loading it on tankers.
We have supplied marine mooring & lifting equipments for the maintenance of these barges such as open link chains, ropes, shackles, offshore mooring and towing equipments, including factory monitoring & organization of the shipment from the factory up to Angola.
- Supply of communication submarine cables for Block 3/05:
These cables laid on the sea bed between land-based stations were intended to carry telecommunication signals & to transport electrical energy across stretches of ocean and sea up to Block 03.
FRANCARE has accompanied the whole manufacturing process of these cables at the factory.
> We have organized the factory inspection by the delegation composed of Technical Engineers from SONANGOL including the organization of their trip to France, factory support & physical assistance on factory’s site.
> We have also followed the transport organization of these cables on barges up to the Havre departure sea port.
