• A joint venture between Sonatrach and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation
• Oil production at El Merk (over 300,000 barrels/day) and HBNS in the Berkine Basin

  • Groupement Berkine Sonatrach / Anadarko operates the HBNS, HBN (main fields) in Block 404 of the Berkine Basin as well as El Merk fields in Block 208, Algeria.
  • Infrastructures in HBNS and El Merk include the production gathering system (wellhead, flowline/pipeline, field gathering station), water / gas injection system (flowline /trunkline, wellhead), and export pipelines.
  • In HBNS the main product is crude oil and in El Merk the main products are crude oil, LPG and gas condensates.
     
• Engineering design on the regulatory environmental requirements at HBNS and El Merk laboratories. Study of their needs in order to ensure the continuity of the hydrocarbon analysis for the production allocation system. Turn-Key solution:
  • Gas chromatographs fully configures, pre-tuned to application, calibrated with qualified reference materials
  • Direct mercury analyzer of solid, liquid and gas samples
  • Total Organic Carbon analyzer (TOC) for the monitoring of wastewater and industrial process water
  • ion chromatograph for fluorine compound tests
  • Automatic coulter counter, for accurate particle mass, surface, counting and sizing
     
• 3 years contract for the provision of the laboratory equipment and associated services
• Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and training of our engineers in the different factories
• Commissioning, verification, calibration, troubleshooting of equipment
• Practical training of laboratory Technicians and Engineers on the use of the laboratory equipment delivered
• Writing of Operation & maintenance manuals, analysis reports.
• Laboratory audits and recommendations to Groupement Berkine on all aspects of the routine laboratory analysis and operations ; in particular HSE
• Preventive and curative maintenance during 3 years
• Spare parts management
